From September 2007 the Year 10 option in Business Studies will be a single award Edexcel Course. We are using a new text book written by Sue Alpin and colleagues. The course will broadly run inline with this text book although there will be plenty of room for the students to exercise their business skills with their mini-enterprise work.
We have been very pleased with the take up - thirty three students from the year are taking this course. The mini-enterprise activities have again proved very popular and the following is al ist of the businesses started this year:
